Yangnyeom Dubu Buchim
Recipe:
1/2 block firm tofu, cut into 1/4” thick rectangles
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
2-3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp gochugaru
1 green onion, thinly sliced
Squeeze tofu of excess water and pat dry. Cut tofu to desired shape and thickness.
In a greased pan, fry your tofu on medium-low heat until golden brown— about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer to serving dish.
In a small bowl combine soy sauce, sugar, garlic and gochugaru. Stir to dissolve sugar. Spoon sauce over fried tofu and top with green onion.
Best eaten right away. Sauce can be made ahead and stored in the fridge.
